The house is located walking distance to Deer Isle Village, home to our favorite 44 North Coffee with daily fresh pastries and locally brewed coffee. Art galleries, restaurants and more… 

12 minute drive to Stonington for more local craft, gift shops, art galleries and restaurants. Rent kayaks, bikes and more. Take a ferry to Isle Au Haut, or the historic Katherine mail boat ride out of Sylvester’s Cove, in Deer Isle. A little over an hour to Bar Harbor Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park, North and Southeast Harbors.

Or take part in the local fare with galleries and art studios, organic farms, farmers markets, nature walks and the scenic Maine coast.
